I was cleaning my apartment the other day and was moving the old computers I have laying around. I also noticed that I had run out of shelf space and had just crammed books in various places.
Then the thought occurred to me to re-purpose the old computer cases. From the front it looks like an old computer that has passed its prime.
Remove all the internal parts and wash off the years of accumulated dust and it makes a rather nice book case.
I think adding some blue LEDs to illuminate the case would be an interesting touch. I’ve also got a couple of ideas for re-purposing other old tech or furniture for new purposes but all these ideas will cost a little bit of money. But when I get around to them I’ll post the pictures.
